This piece was inspired by my blooming garden and painted mostly ‘’en plein air’’. I painted flowers so that they don’t die. The changing of seasons and the fleeting beauty of the blooms reminds me of seasons in our lives. Embracing the change, staying excited for a new season, yet keeping the warmth of the sunny summer days in our hearts.
